Job description for the role of Salesforce Business Analyst

Role Description

As a Salesforce Senior Business Analyst (BA), you would analyze business processes, gather requirements, design and configure Salesforce solutions and manage projects. 

 

You will also be required to work closely with our clients – both in projects delivery and in pre-sales/solution consulting conversations. You would also be expected to have knowledge about integrating salesforce solutions with other enterprise cloud technology systems and meet other business requirements. 

What will make you successful in this role

  1. Ability to communicate clearly and close open-ended conversations (i.e. ability to focus on driving outcomes)
  2. Ability to understand and analyse client needs, breakdown the problem and present solutions – both in Projects Delivery and Solution Consulting/Pre-Sales conversations
  3. Ability to lead a team of 4-5 people, especially in projects delivery
  4. Ability to demonstrate solution concepts via demos/Proof-Of-Concept (POC) in 1-2 days

Qualifications and Experience Required

 

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 4 – 6 Years

Budget: 8-12 LPA 

 

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  1. End-to-end implementation experience (i.e. Requirements to Deployment) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  2. Ability to independently drive Discovery / Design Workshops – Coordinate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  3. Create configurable solutions that comprise workflows, reports, custom objects, and validation rules.
  4. Manage various salesforce projects, including gathering information, planning, and executing projects.
  5. Formulate and maintain salesforce solution documentation. (e.g., process flows, data models, and technical specifications)
  6. Works with the design team to ensure that the most significant business operations are addressed.
  7. Create a requirements management strategy for the project, which describes, the process for elicitation, documentation standards, and formats.
  8. Familiarity with the backlog grooming process, attributes, review, and approval process.
  9. Plan and monitor scope by ensuring that needs are within the SOW’s scope and communicating any variances for inclusion in the change control process.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  1. Preferred: Candidates with relevant Salesforce Certifications or other Certifications such as IIBA / CSM / CSPO / Prince2 / PMP
  2. Familiarity with JIRA (or equivalent tool)
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  4. Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and collaboration skills
  5. Experience in working with an Agile Delivery mechanism/mode

Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree (BSc /  B.Com / BE / B.Tech) + MBA
