Staff Software Architect
- Seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Architect for our fast-growing health tech startup. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, development, and scaling of complex software systems. This role requires advanced knowledge in creating robust architectures for 0 →1 software engineering, managing the Software Development Lifecycle, and developing databases geared towards online transactions, analytics, and machine learning systems.
- A strong candidate is proficient in integrating HIPAA-compliant solutions, ensuring the protection of patient data through secure third-party integrations, cooperation frameworks, security design, and careful vendor selection. Expertise in 0 →1 problem-solving, and the ability to drive interdisciplinary communication and progress are crucial.
- Technical experience in AWS/Azure/GCP, third-Party managed services, and software APIs.
- Proficiency with HIPAA technical safeguards in collaboration tools for documentation, defect management, and the full spectrum of software lifecycle tools (Development, Version control, Configuration, Deployment, Monitoring) is vital.
- Candidates should have a proven track record of navigating the complexities of healthcare data, understanding the importance of PHI security and privacy, and implementing systems in accordance with US health care regulations.
